We begin our tour by boat on Lake Lucerne. The views of small towns with beautiful hotel buildings and churches give way to a panorama of the alpine peaks. From Vitznau a small train of the historic cog railroad will take us to the summit of Mount Rigi. I suggest you choose a place on the left side and admire the constantly changing views of the lake and mountains. We will have a cup of hot coffee in a small restaurant near the summit and walk to the observation point. If you are ready for an easy hike, we can walk to the cable car station on a special trail, stopping for photo breaks.
